With a combined wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Flooring Industry, our trainers have you covered!
Paul Maher
Paul Maher has over 30 years of experience in the Flooring Industry. Commencing his career as a floor installer in 1970, Paul worked at his parent's business, gaining extensive experience in all flooring installation, both commercial and domestic. In 1986, Paul purchased his parent's business and continued to work in the industry until he sold the business.
Paul had a change in career and worked with Fire and Rescue NSW as a Facility Manager in their Regional Training Facility. He then went on to a position at Albury Wodonga Health as the emergency coordinator until 2019, when he retired.
His passion for the Flooring Industry saw him return to the industry, and he joined TFIA as a Trainer and Assessor. Paul brings to the TFIA his extensive experience training young people through his previous roles and a good understanding of training and guiding future generations of floor installers, supporting them with their online, onsite and remote learning.
